Darshan directs Capital Chartered's Industrial Consulting Division, including Plant, Machinery & Equipment Valuations. Darshan has many years of experience with various multinational companies such as Knight Frank, Mott MacDonald, and Dun & Bradstreet and has undertaken technical due diligence and industrial asset valuation assignments across many sectors as diverse as chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverages, textiles, metals, power, electrical, etc.

Ian, based in North London, brings a wealth of experience to the Capital Chartered team. Having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1989, his first post-qualification position was alongside Fraser Maldoom at Barnard Marcus Professional, based in Battersea & Mayfair. Since then, he has developed the London region of GA Valuation and Survey (now Esurv), opened and headed the London office of Hockleys (the surveying division of Norwich and Peterborough Building Society) and subsequently dealt with prime properties in Central London as head of the Residential Valuation Department of Mann Smith Chartered Surveyors, based in Whitehall. Ian has more recently been at Kinleigh Folkard and Hayward Chartered Surveyors covering Central, North and North West London, including Highgate, Hampstead and Islington., before leaving to join the team at Capital Chartered Surveyors as a Consultant Surveyor.

David, in addition to providing Valuation Consultancy to Capital Chartered Surveyors and Valuers is a Director of Capital Leasehold.  A former Head of Lease Extensions & Enfranchisement at John D Wood and subsequently at Friend and Falcke in Kensington and Chelsea, David has over twenty years experience honed in the Prime Central London postcodes of W1, W2, W8, W11, SW1, SW3, SW5, SW7 and SW10. A tough negotiator, he has challenged The Cadogan, Grosvenor and Crown Estates at The Leasehold Valuation Tribunal on The Sportelli Decision, Hope Value and Leaseholders Improvements. David has an Expert Valuer’s knowledge and first hand experience of Leasehold Enfranchisement and Lease Extension legislation and case law. David offers our clients, across London and beyond, the benefit of his experience and expertise which complements our established core business of Building Surveys, HomeBuyer Reports and Valuations in Central, North, West, South, South East and South West London and The Home Counties.

Hugh qualified in the Incorporated Society of Valuers & Auctioneers in 1987, becoming an active member of the Society. In 2000 Hugh completed a further two years of Study at the College of Estate Management (now University College), passing a diploma in Arbitration and becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2001. Hugh began his London property career as a commercial agent at William Willett in Sloane Square before moving to LSH. He then moved to J Trevor & Son, further developing his experience in valuations and lease advisory. A move to Cluttons saw a change in focus to property management and leasehold reform before leaving to head up the professional department at Smith Melzack in 1998. In 2002 Hugh joined Colliers CRE as an Associate Director in the Out of Town Retail Department, undertaking rent reviews on retail warehouses and drive-through restaurants across the UK. In 2005 he joined Stiles Harold Williams as Director and Head of the London Professional Department, focusing on a broad range of valuations for all High Street Banks. At Capital Chartered, Hugh uses his experience of various markets across London to provide effective Chartered Surveying services covering most types of asset classes, with specific emphasis on valuations for Probate, Single Joint Expert (SJE) valuations for dispute and family (Divorce) purposes as well as market rent valuations on schools, dentists, retail and industrial property.

Justin brings a wealth of experience in the survey and valuation of residential and commercial properties in London, Surrey and surrounding areas. He also undertakes Commercial Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals, Party Wall Matters and Commercial Sales and Lettings.

Andrew is ASA Accredited Senior Appraiser, with over 30 years’ experience of Plant & Machinery Valuation. He has worked in 65 different countries and within many sectors including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, Mining, Telecommunications, General Manufacturing (Food, Engineering, Cement, etc.) and Process Plants.

After finishing technical college Tue got his decree in Architectural Technology and Construction Management. Since 2004 he has worked on numerous prestigious projects in the capacity as architectural consultant and chartered construction manager. At Capital Chartered Tue is responsible for measured surveys and drawings for land registry.

Damian worked in the digital industry for over 16 years since graduating with a first class honours degree in Computer Science. He started his career in Germany working as a software engineer and has moved through the ranks to be become a Web Development Manager. He now is now in charge of marketing at Capital Chartered.
