We usually recommend an RICS Homebuyer Report for flats, particularly if they are relatively new, but if the flat forms part of a large converted Georgian house, for example, then we might suggest a Building Survey.  It is our normal practice to look at the sales particulars of each property that we inspect prior to providing a quotation and advice and by doing so we can tailor our quotation carefully to the specific property, which in turn gives the client the best value.
